<div style="text-align: center;">
I have just got back from my trip to Disneyland Paris <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcQRhZ0FjZM">(here's the vlog)</a><br />
We went during half term so organisation was absolutely key in making sure we had a good time!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just want to share with everyone a few tips that i would have found helpful</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Meeting Princesses Tips</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li style="text-align: left;">Rapunzel. During 'Swing into Spring' Rapunzel still has her own meet and greet off to the left side of Main street before crossing the bridge to Fantasy Land in 'Casey's Corner' It's easy to spot as there are two purple umbrellas with her sun sigil. The event starts at 11.30am but it's suggested you start queuing a good hour before that!</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">All other princesses minus Mulan and Jasmine will randomly appear at the Auberge De Cendrillion restaurant in fantasy land! <b>YOU MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE</b></li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora are the most common princesses to appear at the Cendrillion</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">The Princess Pavilion is the easiest way to guarantee meeting a princess! To get a princess pavilion ticket you must queue next to the Old Mill by the gate, it's near the 'It's a Small World Ride' and is well sign posted! Tickets start being issued from 10.30 onward but i would recommend queuing AS SOON AS YOU ENTER THE PARK! I had early access tickets and started queuing at 9am and even then there were people in front of me! You will be issued a time slot from 10.45 onward, you do not get to choose which princess you meet but often Aurora and Belle are at the earliest time slots and Cinderella and Arial are at the later ones! Tiana is entirely random.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Mulan and Jasmine can both be found in the Walt Disney Studios Park and both take part in the Stars 'n' Cars Meet and Greet</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Jasmine will occasionally appear randomly in Adventure Land with Aladdin.</li>
</ol>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Food and Dining</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Eating at Disneyland can be pretty expensive <br />
and it's hard to know which restaurants are actually worth it <br />
so here's a list of my favourite restaurants/where they are and what they serve as well as tips on eating cheaper</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>The Blue Lagoon</b>! ££ This restaurant is located in Adventure Land near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, it serves mostly sea food but also a variety of other dishes all themed around the Caribbean. The restaurant is in perpetual night time and you can see the PotC ride go by as you eat. You should definitely book in advance if you want a table.<b> Half Board can be used here</b></li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Auberge de Cendrillion</b> £££ This is the most expensive restaurant in the park and can be found in Fantasy Land! Here you can dine with Cinderella's mice as well as an assortment of princesses and prince charming. It's most famous for the 'Cinderella's Delight' dessert. You <b>MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE</b></li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Annette's Diner</b> ££ Annette's can be found in the Disney Village and has a really authentic diner feel. The staff serve the food on roller-skates and you can eat there for any meal of the day. It gets very busy at lunch time as it is so popular, if you want to guarantee a table the best time to go is between 3.30-.4.30.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Inventions</b> ££ Inventions is found in the Disney Land Hotel and is an all you can eat character buffet! The most common characters to be found during dinner are Goofy, Pluto, Micky Mouse and Eeyore. You should book in advance! <b>Half Board can be used here</b></li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Hakuna Matata </b>£ This restaurant is excellent if you're just looking for a quick bite to eat around the park. It's found in Adventure land and very often you will be joined by Baloo or Rafiki. They serve the most delicious French fries i have ever tasted and the coffee is good too!</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Pizza Planet</b> £ As you can probably guess, Pizza Planet is a replica of the restaurant from Toy Story and is an all you can eat pizza and pasta buffet. It's found in Discover Land and is probably the best restaurant to take kids to if you're just looking for a quick place to eat before getting back to the rides.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>HALF BOARD it's highly recommended that you get some half board vouchers for dining <a href="http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/practical-information/dining-options-half-board-meal-plan.html">HERE IS A LINK</a> to all the info on half board meal plans</b></li>
</ol>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Avoiding Queues</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's easy to accidentally spend all your time at Disney queuing for rides but it's actually avoidable if you know what you're doing</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>FAST PASS!</b> There are actually two types of fast past tickets available at Disneyland Paris, the standard version allows you to use your fast pass at certain times of the day! And the V.I.P pass which allows you to skip the queues whenever you want without having to hand in a ticket, you just flash it and they let you through. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Early Access! </b>If you get a hotel booking which comes with a park ticket then you will often also be entitled to an early access ticket. This allows you into the park 2 hours before regular guests and is vital if you want to get a princess pavilion slot during peak times. Most of the big rides are open during early access including Space Mountain Mission 2 and Peter Pan's Ride. This is also the best way to get photos.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Food queues! </b>It's common in most of the hotels to find yourself queuing for a breakfast table even if you have a time slot. The only sure fire way to avoid this is to EAT EARLY, 7.30-8.00 being the best time. If you want to avoid ever queuing you can always book all you meals but this is unfortunately not possible for breakfast unless you're booking a special character breakfast.</li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Shows and Special Events</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<ol>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show! </b>This is a MUST SEE SHOW! <b>it does not happen on Wednesdays and Thursdays </b>and needs to be booked in advance. The food is typical country and western style and you get to watch an interactive show with Micky and Minnie!</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Disney Dreams! </b>The Disney Dreams show, in my opinion, is the main reason to visit Disneyland Paris. The show is absolutely stunning and really needs to be seen in real life. It starts at 11.00pm and i would suggest getting a place before 10.30pm <b>THE BEST PLACE TO WATCH THE SHOW FROM </b>is about 10 meters from the end of main street in the middle. <b>YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE TOO CLOSE</b> and you do not want to be at the side as a lot of the illusions are designed to be viewed head on.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><b>Disney Land Parade</b>. The Disney parade is at 5.30pm everyday and starts in the square in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle and goes all the way up main street! Pretty much anywhere in the park will give you a good view!</li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's all the main Information i have </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-B06jU8X78A8/UQUfId3t_zI/AAAAAAAAAYc/xN4bxvZOV6E/s1600/hair+tips.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="163" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-B06jU8X78A8/UQUfId3t_zI/AAAAAAAAAYc/xN4bxvZOV6E/s640/hair+tips.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">About two years ago, after only dying it black a couple months before, i decided i wanted platinum blonde hair and made almost all the rookie mistakes. I was lucky enough that my hair was so healthy to start with that the damage wasn't completely unforgiving but even though i am brunette again now i've learned some awesome ways to get damaged hair feeling/looking healthy again.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace; font-size: x-large;"><b>Tips/tricks</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace; font-size: x-large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<div>
<b style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Don't brush your hair when it's wet</b><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">: I cannot stress this enough, our hair is very weak when wet as it stretches. I personally don't brush my hair at all but if you do, DO NOT BRUSH WHEN HAIR IS WET. Just don't do it!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Not so hot</b>: <span style="font-weight: normal;">It's time to start avoiding the hottest setting on your dryer and cut back on those straighteners and hair curlers. I know this is the most obvious advice but you really will notice a huge difference once you turn the heat down</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Give it a rest: </b>Don't wash your hair everyday, try every other day. The acids in shampoos strip our hair of it's natural oils, so the best way to avoid this is to simply not wash it so much.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Better products:</b> From heat protection milks to moisturising shampoos, our hair needs extra TLC and it's worth investing in some good products. Obviously a lot of these are crazy pricey so the ones i would recommend are </span><br />

It's the New Year and lots of us have probably got the 'eat more healthy' line on our list of resolution and</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
like everyone i often get peckish in between meals, although weight is not a concern for me i still care about what i'm putting into my body and want to make sure i'm taking care of myself. So i wanted to share with you some of my favourite foods/snacks which happen to be very healthy and nutritious. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
Yoghurt and honey</h3>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="212" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KgE99q_XI4U/UO3BP59i4fI/AAAAAAAAAVU/sZorp3YXz4E/s320/yogurt-and-honey.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Yum! Yum! YUM! This is my go to snack food at home, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
if i'm hungry my first instinct is to grab some nice organic yogurt and either drizzle it with honey or chop up some banana into it! Or maybe even both.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Of course you can put other things in your yoghurt, sometimes i like to put a spoonful of jam in with it instead </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
but i must stress, i have seen a lot of people think that they can just completely cover their yoghurt in jam or honey of sugar and it's 'still healthy because it's yoghurt </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
..........it doesn't work like that! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
try to stick to just one tea spoon of honey/jam or sugar, that's all it needs.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h3>
Fruit/veg smoothies </h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TALjLeXe920/UO3blwPyxMI/AAAAAAAAAVo/bhghJnx7T5k/s320/dude18_smoothie_jack_400.jpg" width="303" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Okay so i know these aren't necessarily quick, but if you have some spare time you can make a batch and it'll last a few days. My favourite smoothie recipe is</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>1 Mango</li>
<li>2 chopped carrots</li>
<li>1 or 2 peeled oranges</li>
<li>1/2 cup water or orange juice</li>
</ul>
Some people like to add a quarter tea spoon of ginger and you can also skip the mango!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Smoothies are so fun to experiment with but they're always brilliant at filling you up and you know it's always going to be healthy as you know it's only fruit/veg going into your body.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you can't be asked to make your own, you can always get an innocent smoothie or a variation as they're just as delicious and healthy but it's obviously more fun to make your own.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h3>
Rice cakes with almost anything</h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="213" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KrQ78L9b9-U/UO3eRFIdvFI/AAAAAAAAAWA/5P2NHnv0aMQ/s320/1251472425Yc3azj.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Oooo! My mouth is watering just thinking about them!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really love rice cakes and i could happily eat them on their own but i know most people find that bland.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A few good things to put on your rice cakes are: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>Peanut butter (make sure you get a brand that doesn't use palm oil, or that gets it from a sustainable source)</li>
<li>Cream Cheese</li>
<li>Cream cheese/cucumber</li>
<li>Cream cheese/ smoked salmon</li>
<li>Smoked salmon and lemon</li>
<li>Houmous</li>
<li>Tahini</li>
<li>Honey</li>
</ul>
You could put ANYTHING ON THEM!! They're just so delicious. My favourite is smoked salmon and cream cheese with a squeeze of lemon. Rice cakes are the perfect alternative to bread/toast and they are so much better for you. My mum is even fond of making rice cake sandwiches which are unsurprisingly delicious.<br />
<h3>
<br />FRUIT AND VEG</h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="213" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v0to2so7-rk/UO3hmCXCpwI/AAAAAAAAAWY/pmgPu3vbQdE/s320/summer-fruit-and-veg.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Honestly nothing baffles me more than when people say they're trying to get healthy but <i>'it's just so hard to find nice foods to eat'</i></div>
<div>
What about simply some fruit and veg? It's cheap, you usually don't need to prepare it and it's really tasty.</div>
<div>
You could just grab a banana or an apple or my favourite, some blueberries.</div>
<div>
Or if you have a little time, chop up some carrots and dunk them in some houmous! </div>
<div>
Cut a grapefruit in half and sprinkle some sugar on top! </div>
<div>
Hell, make a fruit salad if you feel like it.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's very common now days for people's taste buds to be 'warn out' and for your body to crave snack foods and junk but i promise just a couple days of eating fruit and veg in place of the usual unhealthy stuff and it'll start being the healthy stuff you crave instead, it's amazing how quickly your body gets back to wanting the healthy stuff.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><b><span style="font-size: large;">I'd love to hear some of your favourite healthy foods so comment below and enjoy all the yummy food</span></b></i></div>

I struggled to order these so much so please don't in any way view this as my be all and end all favourite animes of 2011-2012<br />
2011 and 2012 were abundantly good years for anime and i've barely scratched the surface with the series i've watched so again, this<b> is not </b>a be all and end all!!<br />
<br />
<h3>
Number 5</h3>
<h4>
Guilty Crown</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J2978Dqo-AM/UOwUKsUd-oI/AAAAAAAAATg/v3-0E4o9zO8/s1600/guilty-crown.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="179" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J2978Dqo-AM/UOwUKsUd-oI/AAAAAAAAATg/v3-0E4o9zO8/s320/guilty-crown.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Guilty Crown kind of became the Marmite anime of 2012! People either really liked it or thought it so awful it should be erased from their memories. I was one of the people who really liked it ^-^</div>
<div>
I went in expecting to absolutely despise it because of all the terrible things i'd heard about it and after the first episode i was ready to drop it. I was pleasantly surprised though how quickly it developed its own vibe and i ended up watching the whole thing in a couple of days. </div>
<div>
The story follows Shu, a young boy who accidently finds himself with 'the kings mark' which allows him to extract peoples souls/hearts and manifest them as weapons or items reflective of said person's personality.</div>
<div>
The soundtrack is easily the best thing about this anime, it may even be considered it's redeeming feature!</div>
<div>
I must stress that this anime is greatly flawed, the female lead is one of the most dull characters to exist in anime and although i like a little bit of a chaotic break down toward the end of my anime i know others prefer to keep it a bit more structured. The action is awesome, in particular the 'anti-gravity' scene in one of the earlier episodes! I know A LOT of people really hated this anime and i feel a little like Joey in that episode of friends where Rachael tried to make a trifle. The giant robots: good. The music: Good. The action: Gooood!! </div>
<div>
The only thing i really hated about it was the lack of character development for some of the side characters and how mind numbingly boring Inori was but that's about it, everything else was great.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<h3>
Number 4</h3>
<h4>
Mirai Nikki</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dwdQdh7anCE/UOwgr-64bdI/AAAAAAAAAUI/Ldx6DbyG-5k/s1600/mirai-nikki-5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dwdQdh7anCE/UOwgr-64bdI/AAAAAAAAAUI/Ldx6DbyG-5k/s320/mirai-nikki-5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Can i just have the first 20 or so episodes on here please?? seriously the ending was so stupid i nearly ripped my hair out but up until then A+ </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Where Guilty Crown lacks in the female lead area, Mirai Nikki excels. Although she's some what unorthodox she's definitely interesting. Yuno Gasai is so desperately in love that she's willing to go on as many murderous rampages as necessary and she'll be laughing all the way!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I feel like everyone has seen this anime so there's not much point in me explaining it but i will! We follow Yuki, a painfully average high school boy, as he is thrust into a game of 'last one standing gets to be God' There's a lot of stupid crap in this anime but all the gratuitous violence and 'yandereness' really do make up for it. I feel like thanks to this anime we finally have a 'yandere' queen. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The twists are actually pretty great in this one too and i definitely felt satisfied with the 'big reveal' which is becoming rare in most anime.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Side not: My favourite bit has got to be the Ninth 'dart scene' in fact that whole episode was great!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<h3>
</h3>
<h3>
Number 3</h3>
<h4>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Yuru Yuri</span></h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0_ueHUooyus/UOzIaIZ0ExI/AAAAAAAAAUk/fI68wFNjl88/s1600/Yuru+Yuri+-+Vol+6.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0_ueHUooyus/UOzIaIZ0ExI/AAAAAAAAAUk/fI68wFNjl88/s320/Yuru+Yuri+-+Vol+6.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Recently i've gotten really into comedy anime and Yuru Yuri had me in stitches!! It was so surreal but also really, painfully cute. I've never watched something before where i've shipped every character with every character and other than Strawberry panic i've never watched an anime with an entirely female cast!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm not even sure what Yuru Yuri is meant to be a parody of, i want to say Yuri, but it's kind of a parody of the entire cute sub genre.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At first you assume Akari is going to be our protagonist but her position is quickly usurped by all the other female characters who have a much stronger presence than her! Eventually it's proclaimed that her only outstanding trait is her hair! I couldn't help feeling this was a subtle dig at the magical girl genre and how dull the leading lady often is in comparison to the supporting cast. This anime is really, really funny and i found that i not only loved all the characters but that it was very easy to get through and i can't wait to watch the next series!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3>
Number 2</h3>
<h4>
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cpvRZ22QX1E/UOzIxTSyaYI/AAAAAAAAAUs/Y5tWDGbX5T4/s1600/Tonari.no.Kaibutsu-kun.600.1306541.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="252" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cpvRZ22QX1E/UOzIxTSyaYI/AAAAAAAAAUs/Y5tWDGbX5T4/s320/Tonari.no.Kaibutsu-kun.600.1306541.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Literally who came up with this? And i seriously hope they will be making a series 2</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Tonari is the story of apathetic, book-worm <span style="background-color: white; text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 19.200000762939453px;">Shizuku Mizutani's romantic journey with a borderline sociopath with 0 self-</span></span><span style="line-height: 19.200000762939453px;">preservation</span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 19.200000762939453px;"> skills. I feel like Haru is one of the most unique characters i've ever come accross in anything ever!He's completely blunt and actually a little bit scary but he's kept in check by the girl he's decided he's in love with.</span></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 19.200000762939453px;">I loved, LOVED how he was continuously, accidently punching Shizu in the face while usually trying to defend her </span></span><span style="line-height: 19.200000762939453px;">honour</span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="line-height: 19.200000762939453px;"> in some way. and all the side characters were so well mapped out, and quite amazingly, i was interested in ALL of their stories.</span></span></span></div>
<div>
The only thing i would fault this series with is that it must have a second, it was left in such a way that we have to assume that's the plan andi'm sure we're all dying to find out a little more about Haru's past and what's to become of the romantic endeavours of (our blogging soul mate ) Asako!!</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<h3>
Number 1</h3>
<h4>
<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19.200000762939453px; text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Puella Magi Madoka Magica</span></span></h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NNxC29u43PM/UOzIK9Aas6I/AAAAAAAAAUc/pAqggprCcH4/s1600/puella-magi-madoka-magica-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NNxC29u43PM/UOzIK9Aas6I/AAAAAAAAAUc/pAqggprCcH4/s320/puella-magi-madoka-magica-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Urgh! How much more obvious could i be!! Madoka exceeded my expectations in a big way, i knew the gist of it but i was so sure that all the hype would mean it was bitterly disappointing, i was wrong.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Madoka is to the magical girl genre what Neon Genesis Evangelion is to the mecha genre! and it managed to achieve that in just twelve twenty five minute episodes. If you have managed to go this long without seeing it and are lucky enough not to have been exposed to any spoilers then quickly, GO AND WATCH IT!! I am amazed i was fortunate enough to watch it without too many spoilers, all i knew was that people were saying it 'ruined there life' and that 'it was not a happy show' </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also want to point out how freakin' amazing the sound track is, they have all this fake angsty celtic music which doesn't actually mean anything (something i think was intended to be a clever little reflection of the music often used in mahou shoujo) but it sounds fantastic, you'll be listening to it for days after!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Madoka really got me thinking, a lot, about the magical girl concept, and how it's kind of fucked up! You could literally discuss this show and all the sneaky little tid bits for hours! There's just so much crammed in to those 12 episodes and it definitely deserves it's seat in the anime hall of legends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now who's excited about the up coming movies and the second series??</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
or are you as apprehensive about them as i am?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
Honorable mention </h3>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
Mawaru Penguindrum</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9iLKth1qRLU/UOzUd2w37xI/AAAAAAAAAVA/b_lt139Q2-s/s1600/mawaru-penguindrum-ep1-3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9iLKth1qRLU/UOzUd2w37xI/AAAAAAAAAVA/b_lt139Q2-s/s320/mawaru-penguindrum-ep1-3.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This would most definitely have been on my list if not for my strong aversion to over the top symbolism, metaphors and allegory and every other bit of pretence this show had!! It was a wonderful show and i'm sure many people were not bothered by all the symbols but for me, plot should always come first and i felt the story was completely over powered by the writer's desperation to present a deeper meaning.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This being said! I would still recommend it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
2013 is looking to be a big year for video game players</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
so here's my personal list of the top 5 video games i'm most excited about</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</h4>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 5</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
The Last Guardian</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6aZEGROf0QA/UOmmjzNrCuI/AAAAAAAAAP0/sPLVnhBtBTM/s1600/the-last-guardian.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="175" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6aZEGROf0QA/UOmmjzNrCuI/AAAAAAAAAP0/sPLVnhBtBTM/s320/the-last-guardian.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">This probably would have been higher if not for all the crazy development trouble i've been hearing about and there's actually a strong possibility it WON'T be released this year, but regardless, it's on my list.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">The game seems to be my typical favourite action adventure/ puzzle format in which you are a young boy escaping from what appears to be a large castle of some kind. You also have this giant bird/dog/griffin/bear thing that becomes your companion. It's said the game will have a QUOTE 'open-ended-ending-that is probably sad' that's not really a quote but that about sums up what the creator Fumito Ueda said!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></span></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 4</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
The Last of Us</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WwQUJK3ft_Y/UOm0LmCj9XI/AAAAAAAAAQI/lx95SVGd5Jc/s1600/338402.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WwQUJK3ft_Y/UOm0LmCj9XI/AAAAAAAAAQI/lx95SVGd5Jc/s320/338402.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">This is a video game about Ellen Page fighting mad men and zombies in a dystopian future! Wait no, i'm getting it confused with </span><i style="font-weight: normal;">Beyond: Two Souls!!</i><span style="font-weight: normal;"> An easy mistake seeing as our protagonist Ellie is clearly just a dystopian Juno, minus the baby (i hope)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">Naughty dog are most famous for there Uncharted series and incredible in game cinematography so the idea of them taking all that amazing film like video game making magic to make an apocolypse survival video game is just too exciting. It will be released in May.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzmHcj2Q8eQ">If you haven't already go check out the trailer</a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 3</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
Ni No Kuni</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PzZeQeudwEw/UOm3RWkD5iI/AAAAAAAAAQc/90nvr-TAikU/s1600/video-main-visual_uk.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="215" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PzZeQeudwEw/UOm3RWkD5iI/AAAAAAAAAQc/90nvr-TAikU/s320/video-main-visual_uk.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once upon a time there were millions of little video game fans and millions of little Studio Ghibli fans who also liked video games! One day the nerd fairy came down from her magical candy floss cloud and said 'LET THERE BE A STUDIO GHIBLI VIDEO GAME'</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and then everyone was happy and they declared world piece!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At least that's how i felt when i first heard about Ni No Kuni! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We shall be playing young Oliver, who is given the power of magic by a fairy left by his mother, allowing him to enter a world parallel to his own names <i>Ni No Kuni! </i>I was lucky enough to get to play it (for a few seconds) at Hyper Japan in November! Although i had very little i time to play it, i can tell you that it was beautiful and i am SO SO SOOOO excited to get to play it properly when it comes out later this month!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 2</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
BioShock Infinite</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--U8aHdKmoC4/UOm5fzoFEvI/AAAAAAAAAQw/960vbCS516I/s1600/infinite2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="165" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--U8aHdKmoC4/UOm5fzoFEvI/AAAAAAAAAQw/960vbCS516I/s320/infinite2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This game sure looks pretty! Can i just, i just, i'm really struggling to speak because i'm so excited about this game! <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLHW78X1XeE">Watch the trailer here</a> See what i mean? Everything just looks so absolutely perfect, Elizebeth (who your character is instructed to rescue) looks amazing for starters and i can't wait to play and learn more about her character. I need to make a disclaimer though, <b>I HAVE NOT PLAYED BIOSHOCK</b>. I watched over the shoulder of my brother as he played them and although i have attempted to play the first one multiple times i have been having the most agonising loading and glitch problems. hopefully i will have these sorted out soon so i can fraps them on youtube!! As it's a BioShock game i'm sure we're all looking forward to some kind of mind blowing twist and intense in game action. And what's up with those crow things in the trailer? (i have just been informed that i can summon them, so cool <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">T-T</span>)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This game will be out March 26th and i'm gonna stop talking about it now because it's making me all fidgety and anxious!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 1</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
Animal Crossing: New Leaf</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hpIgUZTs7sg/UOnG7wOK9XI/AAAAAAAAARE/LaHQNnPwQgA/s1600/237588-aheader.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hpIgUZTs7sg/UOnG7wOK9XI/AAAAAAAAARE/LaHQNnPwQgA/s320/237588-aheader.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To be honest, BioShock and AC are probably joint on excitement and they're both coming out around the same time!! - right next to my birthday - But AC is at the top simply because i feel like i have been waiting for this game for 1000 years!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You probably have already, but if not, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=895koqZvihI">check out the trailer here</a>, i'm sure you will squeal at the little swimming surprise just as much as i did!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
What i'm most excited about in this game is the social aspect, from what i've read the interactive element is going to be really strong so i can't wait to play with all of you!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><i><span style="font-size: large;">Please feel free to leave any games that you're excited about in the comments</span></i></b></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">I get this question A LOT on my tumblog along with the 'top five favourite anime' questions and i always feel it's a little unfair as Ghibli movies always seem to take up all the room! so here it is for you, my top 5 favourite anime movies which are not Ghibli!!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Number 5</span></h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">
Paprika</span></h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pYS0KAHZ-H4/UHtZnVzQnJI/AAAAAAAAAHU/o-hhQTsYGKQ/s1600/film+promo+still.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" height="227" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pYS0KAHZ-H4/UHtZnVzQnJI/AAAAAAAAAHU/o-hhQTsYGKQ/s320/film+promo+still.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">It's an absolute tragedy that we lost Satoshi Kon a few years back but thankfully his outstanding library of movies are here for us to remember him by. I remember<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn7U1KIGeuQ&feature=fvwrel"> watching the trailer</a> for this one and thinking 'Holy anime Jesus!! this looks amazing' It's believed that Paprika had a role in the inspiration for Christopher Nolan's Inception and yet I find the psychedelic charm of dreamy chaos that Paprika presents to be a much closer resemblance of my own dreams.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The story follows three scientists who have created a device (the D.C. Mini) which allows people to both record and observe the dreams of others.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">and that's all i'm going to say because i don't want to spoil anything.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The animations style is beautiful and even if you are not keen on anime it's worth watching for the opening sequence alone.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<br />
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Number 4</span></h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
Adolescence of Utena</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xPunnAiQAkk/UOjNlDtpbeI/AAAAAAAAAOk/HgeA0TfRsDM/s1600/UTENA_newtype.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xPunnAiQAkk/UOjNlDtpbeI/AAAAAAAAAOk/HgeA0TfRsDM/s1600/UTENA_newtype.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It's a bit of a cheek putting this up here as it can't really be enjoyed properly if you haven't watched the anime but anyway. Revolutionary Girl Utena is up there as one of my all time favourite anime and i feel like i watched it at just the right time in my life, before I was too cynical for the over the top symbolism but old enough to understand and relate to it. I must stress, no matter what you've heard, it is not yuri. I spent a long time after finishing it desperate for another fix and then hallelujah!! there's a movie! Utena deals with, well, adolescence and the symbolism is so obvious sometimes it's almost painful, with the huge erect buildings and floods of red roses spilling off the platforms, not to mention the swords protruding from peoples chests. And yet there is something wonderful about Utena. As a child she is rescued by a prince but instead of vowing to grow up and marry him, she wants to grow up and be a heroic prince herself! There's much in here about empowerment, and at one point Utena literally transforms into a car for Anthi to ride. The movie feels more like an 'add on' to the anime and some fans have even speculated that it takes place in the land of the dead (though i am not keen on this interpretation) This film will leave you confused and possibly disorientated, but hopefully in a good way.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 3</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
Metropolis</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kWLaxSvNPow/UOjS6lUZI2I/AAAAAAAAAO4/Wjg9jiFV_Jw/s1600/Metropolis+Tima+exposed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="178" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kWLaxSvNPow/UOjS6lUZI2I/AAAAAAAAAO4/Wjg9jiFV_Jw/s320/Metropolis+Tima+exposed.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I cried! (<i>queue Ray Charles)</i> Metropolis is the first movie that ever made me cry. My dad rented it from blockbuster when i was 8, i sat, i watched it, i took it out, gave it back to him and said 'that movie was awful, take it back'</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I then proceeded to watch it 6 more times until the due date! My poor little 8 year old self couldn't quite take it all in and it remained for years 'that magical, mystical, sad film about the robot girl having an existential crisis' I rediscovered this film 2 years ago as it was showing on Film 4! By that time i'd forgotten almost everything about it except that there was a robot girl who glowed! I thought to myself, this animation style is a lot more cartoony than i remember and was preparing for the whole thing to be a bit pants but instead i reverted back to my 8 year old self and sat glued to the screen! The film is good, really, really good but really it's the last 20 minutes that are so amazing, it almost feels like the whole film is there just for the last 20 or so minutes. PLEASE PLEASE WATCH THIS!! It's a wonderful movie and i really wish more people had seen it, it's beautiful and tragic and thoughtful and needs to be seen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 2</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
Perfect Blue</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VLSbBj_Xayc/UOjWjvta8eI/AAAAAAAAAPM/ONBy8qDHNNA/s1600/perfectblue.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="195" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VLSbBj_Xayc/UOjWjvta8eI/AAAAAAAAAPM/ONBy8qDHNNA/s320/perfectblue.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another brilliant Satoshi Kon. As a big fan of Asian pop music and 'idol' culture this movie made me really uncomfortable!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What this film really succeeds in doing, is making you feel desperately concerned for the main character Mima. At the start of the film she breaks away from her idol, music group to pursue a career as an actress. The movie gets weird and scary fast! The concept of multiple personalities plays a key factor but it is handles so subtly that you will often find yourself thinking 'did that actually just happen?' or 'did she just say what i think she did?'</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I would say the most uncomfortable scene (without giving to much away) is the staged rape scene which her managers must watch! There's a moment where it's hinted that Mami is exchanging real life traumatic events for scenarios that happen to her character but i won't say any more it is a must watch film, regardless whether you have an interest in anime. Movie fans will also appreciate the 'screaming bath' scene which is almost copied frame for frame in Requiem For a Dream.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
Number 1</h3>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
Akira</h4>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kvEaKzUwBgM/UOjZp4rKwtI/AAAAAAAAAPg/doBb0l381as/s1600/akira2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kvEaKzUwBgM/UOjZp4rKwtI/AAAAAAAAAPg/doBb0l381as/s320/akira2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I must ask, Is there really an anime better than Akira? I know it is the most obvious choice but i feel it is perfectly justified! There's little for me to say about Akira as most of you have probably seen it, it's set in a dystopian Tokyo named 'Neo-Tokyo' in which our protagonist Kaneda leads a gang of motorcycle riding youths. The destruction of Tokyo turns out to have been the responsibility of a young esper named 'Akira' who's cryonically stored remains are being kept below Neo-Tokyo!! Sounds ridiculous and yet it's perfect! It's so brilliantly told and it simply looks incredible! I really can't think of any reason for someone not to watch this film, other than maybe a terrible attention span or lack of appreciation for good cinema!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So there you have it, my top 5 NON Ghibli anime movies!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hopefully you guys will check out the ones you haven't seen and enjoy them as much as i did!</div>

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0NAqU9Y48Cg/UOhj65eL5bI/AAAAAAAAALg/_lAwOVnAcZg/s1600/IMG_1890.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0NAqU9Y48Cg/UOhj65eL5bI/AAAAAAAAALg/_lAwOVnAcZg/s320/IMG_1890.jpg" width="319" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Something I always envied in other girls was how they could make their hair so beautiful!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One style in particular i always wanted to achieve was the 'doughnut hair'</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've always been rubbish at styling hair but then I learned this nifty trick and now putting my hair in a classy up do in the morning is so easy I don't even need to think about it!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
✰ What you need ✰</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q-KTy5VYD1Q/UOhkP0H1NII/AAAAAAAAALo/nAqmMzx2fI0/s1600/IMG_1855.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q-KTy5VYD1Q/UOhkP0H1NII/AAAAAAAAALo/nAqmMzx2fI0/s320/IMG_1855.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All you need is an old sock and some scissors (preferably match the sock with your hair colour)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">Step 1: Cut the sock in a straight line across the ankle area so that you're left with a tube</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Step 2: Fold the sock in on its self until you're left with something like this</li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aJw3Kzlz_WY/UOhk78oCs7I/AAAAAAAAALw/NP5i8ncd3EU/s1600/IMG_1857.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aJw3Kzlz_WY/UOhk78oCs7I/AAAAAAAAALw/NP5i8ncd3EU/s320/IMG_1857.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now tie your hair up in a super high pony tail, as tight and high as you can!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now put your sock bun over the ends of the pony tail and part it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
With a rolling action fold the two parts of your pony tail into the sock bun, keep going until you reach your head.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It will now probably look a bit messy, but that's ok, keep pushing the loose bits of hair in (you can use bobby pins to hold them in place but i've never needed to) Keep rolling your hair in until you voilà</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kdKAx_tn-_E/UOhmbVkGFwI/AAAAAAAAAME/YArDXbF_rHY/s1600/IMG_1888.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kdKAx_tn-_E/UOhmbVkGFwI/AAAAAAAAAME/YArDXbF_rHY/s320/IMG_1888.jpg" width="315" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Nice simple Doughnut hair</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_0JEA5q0OfE/T_bPQ7ODYGI/AAAAAAAAACI/BT3vNFu7pGM/s1600/P1012354.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_0JEA5q0OfE/T_bPQ7ODYGI/AAAAAAAAACI/BT3vNFu7pGM/s320/P1012354.JPG" width="253" /></a></div>
Heya cuties! I've had a few products i've been meaning to talk about on here for a while, things that have been major life savers for me (especially since i live in the ever dreary south of England). These products always go travelling with me and i honestly don't think i could live without them now, they're fab for hot weather but also for keeping you looking healthy and sun kissed in not so hot weather *cough* English girls *cough*
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--r4j0exKjho/T_bRkISltTI/AAAAAAAAACU/aFAmPg1uoo4/s1600/P1012362.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--r4j0exKjho/T_bRkISltTI/AAAAAAAAACU/aFAmPg1uoo4/s320/P1012362.JPG" width="223" /></a></div>
Okay so number 1 on my list is <b>Solait Tinted Bronze Foam</b> I am quite lucky in that i tan easily and don't burn but unfortunately it's hard to get any sun where i live. I was actually introduced to this product by a friend 'cos I needed a really quick tan without the worry of it going patchy or taking 100 years to develop.
<br />
<b>The best bits:</b>
<br />
Because it's a foam it dries instantly and you can see the full colour within 30 mins
<br />
It doesn't streak because you can see where the colour is going
<br />
It's waaayyyy cheaper than most of the other fake tan products.
<br />
It doesn't stain your hands because it's so easy to wash off.
<br />
Unlike many other fake tan products you can easily 'top it up' without the worry of going orange.
<br />
<b>Things to note:</b>
<br />
It washes off VERY easily, i don't mind this as it's so quick to apply that you can basically do it everyday but bare this in mind when you first apply it as i have on occasion spilled water on my legs after applying and had to watch as it caused a little streak on my leg. DON'T WORRY IF THIS HAPPENS the product is so simple to use that you can just apply a little bit more over the area.
<br />
<b>Where to buy:</b> Super Drug
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-m5I71F9b2lw/T_bUXxzmMII/AAAAAAAAACk/9c6_xWPqHZI/s1600/P1012358.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-m5I71F9b2lw/T_bUXxzmMII/AAAAAAAAACk/9c6_xWPqHZI/s320/P1012358.JPG" width="231" /></a></div>
Number 2 is <b>Kerastase Heat-activated Reconstruction Milk</b>. Oh lord! where do i even start with this product. Some of you may know that I attempted to go platinum blonde myself....from black. The result was an orangey, chewing gummy mess. Luckily my hair had been in good enough condition at the start that my hairdresser managed to get it to the desired colour, after 7 hours over a basin and 4 applications of bleach you can imagine my hair was feeling a little under the weather. My wonderful hairdresser Stef gave me this product (for free because I had already paid so much for the treatment)and told me to <b>'Apply to wet hair and massage it in, then dry your hair as usual, DO NOT BRUSH'</b> So I did and by the end of the month my hair was already coming to life again. I honestly think that without this product i would be balding, it is truly a work of the gods.
<br />
<b>The best bits:</b>
<br />
Although it gives you best results when used with a hair dryer, the reason I put it in my 'summer essentials' is because it works just as well in summer heat. If you go swimming or whatever and don't feel like drying your hair, just apply some of this and sit out in the sun. It'll still repair some damage without any effort.
<br />
IT LASTS A REALLY LONG TIME, you barely need any, i've had my bottle for just under a year now and it still works wonders.
<br />
It smells amazing, really fresh.
<br />
<b>Things to note:</b>
<br />
It's not cheap, but seeing as it lasts so long i think it's a great investment.
<br />
I wouldn't bother with it if your hair isn't damaged, this is strictly for those of you with porous and damaged hair.
<br />
<b>Don't brush it in</b>, brushing hair when wet is a bad idea on its own but this product works best if you just gently run it through with your fingers.
<br />
<b>Where to buy:</b> On Amazon or most professional hair dressers stock it
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QuihQWoiEJk/T_cRj2BZKmI/AAAAAAAAAC0/M8upFM6nKBM/s1600/P1012361.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QuihQWoiEJk/T_cRj2BZKmI/AAAAAAAAAC0/M8upFM6nKBM/s320/P1012361.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
Number 3, and a personal fav, is <b>Doctor Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips</b>! Please don't be put off by the name. This product was originally intended for use by breast feeding women to keep their nipples lubricated, somehow, don't ask me why, someone discovered that it's a miracle cure for dry lips. I received it as a gift for my 18th and oh boy does it do the job, there's really nothing like it, I used to suffer from awful dry lips to the point where i couldn't wear lip stick but those days ar long gone, this product is A MUST HAVE.
<br />
<b>The best bits:</b>
<br />
A little goes a lonnngggg way, you barely need any and it lasts ages.
<br />
It doubles as a lip primer so it's like owning a two in one.
<br />
It's in a small enough container that you can take it on a plane.
<br />
It's multi-purpose, if you have any dry or uncomfortable skin, just stick a bit of this on and it'll be lovely and smooth in no time.
<br />
It's not sticky at all, no more getting your hair stuck to your lips.
<br />
<b>Things to note:</b>
<br />
Like the former, it is not cheap, but again remember that a little lasts a long time.
<br />
It melts so be careful when squeezing it out that you don't get too much.
<br />
It's very glossy and i know that some people don't like that.
<br />
<b>Where to buy:</b> Amazon, Sephora, High end drug stores, Most department stores
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XbulMqutwms/T_cUV99e2PI/AAAAAAAAADI/iLePN1acrt8/s1600/P1012365.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XbulMqutwms/T_cUV99e2PI/AAAAAAAAADI/iLePN1acrt8/s320/P1012365.JPG" width="228" /></a></div>
Okay so these are pretty much all year round essentials but number 4 is, <b>Benefit's You Rebel Tinted Moisturiser</b> I am not particularly keen on foundation, i find it claustrophobic and gross and usually it causes more harm than good but these lovely's are so light that I'm barely aware of their presence. I have them in both shades, one for winter and a darker one for summer, it blends really well so don't worry if you think it won't match your skin tone, it always does.
<br />
<b>The best bits:</b>
<br />
It's impossible to cake which makes it perfect for summer as it's not too hot.
<br />
It blends really well so goes with almost every skin tone
<br />
It gives you this lovely glow like you've been out in the sun all day (which us religious bloggers are in desperate need of)
<br />
They pretty much sell it everywhere.
<br />
<b>Things to note</b>
<br />
The covers are gonna come off, you can see from mine how worn out they are, I like to think of it as a testament to how much I use them.
<br />
If you squeeze too hard it's common to find it will continuously poor out, I have sometimes had to depot it to avoid this problem but other people don't seem to be bothered by it.
<br />
<b>Where to buy:</b> Anywhere that stocks Benefit
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-evLTRQFNxs0/T_cYCTDHD3I/AAAAAAAAADY/uTvsxihBQ08/s1600/P1012357.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-evLTRQFNxs0/T_cYCTDHD3I/AAAAAAAAADY/uTvsxihBQ08/s320/P1012357.JPG" width="206" /></a></div>
Last but definitely not least, number 5 is <b>MAC Fix+</b>! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. If there is one thing i cannot stand it's feeling dehydrated and tired eyed. A few squirts of this, with or without make up will have you looking refreshed and energized. It's not just to wake you up though, it's also great for setting your make up. You just hold it about 20-30 centimetres from your face and do a couple squirts, it creates a mist which really cools you down and is so refreshing.
<br />
<b>The best bits:</b>
<br />
It also helps if you have dry itchy eyes, spraying it with your eyes closed makes them feel alive again.
<br />
It's very cooling so it's lovely in hot weather.
<br />
Some of these kinds of product are polluted with funny fragrance but this one is fragrance free.
<br />
If you use it correctly it should last you a very long time.
<br />
<b>Things to note:</b>
<br />
Don't go overboard, it's very refreshing so it can be tempting to just spray, spray, spray away but you really don't need to.
<br />
It's NOT CHEAP but I really think it's worth the money, especially if you're gonna be in very hot, dry climates.
<br />
<b>Where to buy:</b> Anywhere that stocks MAC
<br />
